eduVest: Building Better Schools Together

Education is the foundation of every community, and strong schools need more than books and supplies — they need safe, modern facilities where children can learn, grow, and thrive. To help schools achieve this, Co-op Pay SACCO, in partnership with eduBox, has introduced eduVest, an innovative school development funding solution.

What is eduVest?

eduVest is a contribution-based funding model where Co-op Pay SACCO members, eduBox revenues, and partner fees come together to provide loans for school construction projects at favourable repayment terms. This unique initiative ensures that schools have access to the capital they need to expand and improve their infrastructure without facing the burden of commercial lending rates.

How Schools Participate

Participation in eduVest is open to eduBox participating schools — schools that provide their class lists on eduBox for parents to order back-to-school supplies. By joining the eduBox ecosystem, schools not only benefit from eduBox services but also qualify for eduVest funding. For added value, schools can:

  • Order their institutional supplies via eduBox for Schools, streamlining procurement.

  • Encourage teachers and staff to use eduBox for their personal needs, benefiting from convenience and discounts.

Types of Projects Funded

eduVest is designed to finance a wide range of school development projects, including:

  • New classroom blocks and extensions to accommodate growing enrolments.

  • Laboratories, libraries, and ICT centres to enhance learning opportunities.

  • Sports and recreation facilities that encourage healthy lifestyles.

  • Nurses’ rooms and first-aid centres, ensuring health and safety for every child on campus.

A Partnership for Growth

By combining SACCO savings, eduBox revenues, and partner contributions, eduVest creates a sustainable pool of funds that schools can rely on to invest in their futures. With flexible repayment options, schools are empowered to grow while protecting their financial stability.

Why eduVest Matters

  • Affordable financing for schools at community-friendly terms.

  • Stronger school facilities, improving the learning environment.

  • Health and safety investments, with a special focus on nurses’ rooms and first-aid centres.

  • Shared growth, as parents, teachers, and communities contribute to better schools.

eduVest is more than a funding program — it is a community investment in education. By working together, parents, teachers, schools, and partners can ensure that every child has access to safe, well-equipped, and inspiring spaces to learn.
